Our Team

We traditionally have crews of no more than three people. This gives us the ability to control quality with an effecient workflow.
Our teams are comprised of a crew leader with all other members being carpenters. Another unique feature of our company is that all workers are employees of TLC Builders, LLC. This senario is quite different from the majority of decking contractors these days. Why is the reason for this? Employees have more pride in what they are constructing than an average subcontractor does. So, once again, TLC Builders is taking all the steps necessary to provide the highest level of professionalism and quality in every project we do.

Company Profile

TLC Builders, LLC was started by Michael Gabriel over four years ago with a vision, to become the premier deck building contractor in Ohio. He brought with him 10 years of commercial building experience, a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and several years as an engineer in the aerospace industry to help guide his company to become an ever-changing, ever-refining company that continues to elevate the bar. Our continued evolution allows us to incorporate ever-improving products and building methods to provide top notch quality, safety and longevity in our decks. These methods and products are not only what you can see, but the hidden things that make the difference. Proper flashing at the wall/ledger interface, proper construction of critical connections that actually meet current International Residential Codes (IRC) and proper joist protection are just a few of the things that TLC Builders does to make their decks some of the best being built today.
