12.08.2007 Privacy Fence
Just finished this little project. We built a nice deck for this homeowner this summer and just completed the privacy fence. When we built the deck the local jurisdiction required a privacy fence to shield the neighbor's view of the deck. So, as a second project, we continued the fence to the back of the property. The fence boards are actually 5/4 x 6 pressure treated lumber instead of the conventional 1 x 6 material. This helps prevent the boards from warping and bowing after installation, making the fence more robust.
